Official Hiatus Post


Hey everyone it has been a while so I just wanted to give everyone who is still looking at spectre a little update on why there has been radio silence.

So first thing is that when I began work on this I wanted very much to show step by step my ideas and changes I make to either lore or the general mechanics. So in saying that I do want to confirm that I have flat out not been able to work on Spectre. There are of course reasons for this, a larger workload due to coworkers leaving at a job that was already 40 hour a week doing night shift, as well as running a lancer game for friends which has eaten into what free time I do have.

Due to these factors my main goal right now is to finish up the game I'm running in my free time and getting back to Spectre some time in February if possible. At the very least I know what I am going to put in the mission pack segment and also am planning to overhaul the PDF lore section to go more into the ins and outs of the Crimson Federation. At the very least right now the mechanical parts for player facing content is in a state I am currently happy with, however I am of course open to feedback as I am still a beginner at balancing and have made mistakes (thank you once more to the people in pilotnet who pointed out that the wasp had 8 speed, I still have no idea how that even happened).

I appreciate everyone who has stuck this long and will try to bring good news in the new year.
