Spectre Over the Galaxy
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
"A spectre is haunting the Galaxy — the spectre of communism. All the powers of old Union have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Ascendant and Karrakin, Harrison and Smith-Shimano, HORUS Radicals and IPS-N police-spies."
Spectre Over the Galaxy is a six-part mission series containing a look into a possible revolution forming within the Karrakin Trade Baronies. This revolution leads to the formation of the Crimson Federation, a revolutionary state formed off the back of the Republican movement sweeping through the Baronies.
Pilots will be taken to the Core World of Bo, the former capital of the now defunct House of Dust. Bo has been under a brutal siege for two years, attacked from above by a coalition of Baronic and Harrison Armory raining orbital bombardment and from below has the COMMENCER Nanite Swarm consumes the small moon. Once landed the Pilots will need to work to assist evacuation efforts, attack occupation forces and do everything in their power to prevent the flames of revolution from being snuffed out.
Within this mission pack are two new licences for preexisting manufacturers, the HORUS Yeti, a support mech the cools down allied mechs at the cost of continuously generating Heat every turn, and the HA Hannibal, an artillery mech focused on utilizing the new frozen status to weaken enemies and break Armor. Alongside theses licences is a brand new manufacturer representing the Crimson Federation faction: Red Star Industries (RSI). This new manufacturer comes with 6 new Core Bonuses and the following new mech licenses:
RSI Hermit: A fragile mech that uses wrecks as a shell to hide in and can house multiple NHPs
RSI Salamander: A Burn and Heat focused mech that specializes in punishing melee fighters
RSI Spider: A mine specialist that can launch mines over a long distance and regain uses through deactivating enemy mines.
RSI Toad: A drone printing mech that can repair allies either through equipment or by shedding it’s own structure.
RSI Wasp: A nimble hit and run mech that can invade through melee attacks and avoid Overwatch.
Alongside these mech licenses is the new talent Puppeteer: A dice based talent revolving around taking control of hostile equipment and mechs.
Disclaimer:
Spectre Over the Galaxy is not an official Lancer product; it is a third party work, and is not affiliated with Massif Press. Spectre Over the Galaxy is published via the Lancer Third Party License.
This content pack is currently in beta and subject to future changes and rewrites. As I am the only person working on this and work a full time job it may take a while to update, however at this current state all that is left is to create the Mission PDF. This is the first of a few mission content packs I have planned which I will try to create. Thank you for your patience.

Loving the look of this, but I do want to bring up a small issue Comp/Con is having with the Salamander; It's inconsistently reading as the alt-frame for the Kobold from Enhanced Combat by the same name, Salamander. Causes some weird mixing unless Spectre is turned off.
oh that's likely because both frames use mf_salamander as their content id, I think when I next update spectre I will try changing the frame id to see if I can make them compatible, thanks for letting me know.
Yep! Not a worry. If you would accept a suggestion, Hellbender could be a fun one to throw in while still being an amphibian!
This is really really cool, the Hermit especially looks awesome. Thanks for sharing, I'm really keen to try it out!
